DAYTON -- Firefighters have been called to a home on fire, on 3415 Kings Highway in Dayton.
The call came in around 11:15 Monday night. The man who lives in the home says he was upstairs when he smelled smoke and then heard a pop. He ran out of his home and called 911. Fire crews were able to contain the fire to a bedroom. Damage from the fire is estimated at $15,000. The man who lived in the home is being helped by the Red Cross tonight.
Investigators are looking into an electrical issue as the cause of the fire.
