UPDATE: Parents in Accidental Shooting Case Found Guilty of Child Endangering

DARKE COUNTY -- Michael and Melody Fisher have been found guilty of child endangering in the accidental shooting of their 11-year-old son.

The child endangering charge is a third-degree felony, which means the couple could face up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

A second charge of involuntary manslaughter ended in mistrial. The jury was unable to come to a unanimous decision on the charge.

The jury deliberated for about 13 hours. The Fishers are due back in court on April 23 for their sentencing.
