GALENA -- This Thursdayâs episode of âWife Swapâ features a local family, from Galena, Ohio.
The wife featured is Marianne Curry and she currently holding the title of Mrs. Delaware County. She is used to pageants and posh living, but back in January she got a dose of another familyâs reality in rural Washington state.
âHow they are comfortable with temperatures and their household wasn't necessarily how I was comfortable so that was the hardest part for me,â Curry said.
Curry moved in with a family of self-proclaimed modern rednecks, spent a week with their husband and two kids and even had to hunt for dinner.
âFinding it alive, getting it and then bringing it home and preparing it and eating it so there was a lot of things involved,â she said.
Curry said the "new mom" made different parenting decisions for her three kids, but still, she's happy she "swapped" for a week.
âI did this for the experience and I think experiences, good or bad, are what helps build your character and create memories,â Curry said.
