DAYTON -- Dayton neighborhood leaders and organizations can learn more about the City of Dayton Neighborhood Mini-Grants program at the next Community Engagement Workshop presented by the Department of Planning and Community Development.
The workshop is free and held at the Dayton Cultural Center (40 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd.) on Wednesday, April 24, at 5:30 p.m.
The City of Dayton Neighborhood Mini-Grants program accepts funding applications for special projects and improvements designed to enhance neighborhood livability and revitalization, including physical improvements, marketing materials, community events and other initiatives.
Additional Community Engagement Workshops scheduled for 2013 are:
⢠April 30, 5:30 p.m. - Active recreation opportunities (with Five Rivers MetroParks).
⢠May 28, 5:30 p.m. - Training for Dayton Delivers, the City of Daytonâs new customer service application.
⢠June 25, 5:30 p.m. - Liquor permit process.
⢠July 30, 5:30 p.m. - Lot Links/REAP.
⢠August 27, 5:30 p.m. - Neighborhood Stabilization Programs I, II, III.
⢠September 30, 5:30 p.m. - City Commission/legislative process and local government.
⢠October 29, 5:30 p.m. - Economic development.
