UPDATE--Police say the shooting was accidental and involved two family members. It happened around 9:30pm at the Yorktown Colony Apartments in Riverside.
Police do not believe there was any intentions to shoot one another. Both were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Officers are not sure what the two were doing with the gun. They are continuing to investigate the shooting as an accident.
RIVERSIDE--According to police scanners officers are searching for a possible suspect in the 800 block of Edinboro Court.
Two medics were called to the scene around 9:30 Wednesday night along with a K-9 unit.
