BEAVERCREEK -- U.S. 35 Eastbound at Shakertown Road has been re-opened after a car and OSP cruiser collide.
It happened early Tuesday morning. The OSP cruiser wound up down an embankment with heavy front-end damage.
The driver of the car had to be extricated. Three people, including the trooper were taken to the hospital, but are expected to be okay.
The injured officer is Trooper Paul Coates,35, with the Xenia Post of the OSP
U.S. 35 Eastbound was shut down for several hours at Shakertown Road. The Westbound lanes were also down to one lane for part of the morning. Everything has since reopened.
