HAMILTON -- A 35-year-old man is behind bars again suspected again of robbery.
Hamilton Police said Delmar Whitesell of Washington Boulevard was identified as the man who walked into the Speedway gas station on Eaton Avenue in Hamilton at 12:45 a.m. Monday and demanded the clerk give him the money inside the cash register.
Whitesell is charged with robbery and jailed at Butler County Jail. He was to be arraigned this morning in Municipal Court.
Hamilton Police said that in addition to several other arrests, Whitesell has most recently been convicted in 2005 of robbery with a deadly weapon. He was released from prison on January 10, 2012.
