MIAMI COUNTY -- A freak accident claims the life of a Miami County worker, Tuesday. Jerry Jackson of Union Township was part of a crew on Troy Sidney Road.
The 51-year old was cutting a tree already on the ground, when it shifted and a heavy branch hit him in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
