GREENE COUNTY -- The University of Central Florida student who committed suicide in his dorm room surrounded by an arsenal of weapons and bombs has ties to the Miami Valley.
James Seevakumaran was found dead of a self inflicted gunshot wound in his UCF room on Monday. He'd left a note talking about a campus attack and according to police, had two weapons waiting for him in the campus mail.
Late Tuesday evening, the Greene County Sheriff's Office issued a statement from Seevakumaran's family stating ''James was a loner and did not have a history of violence. The family does not wish to make any further comments to the media, and they are requesting privacy during this difficult time.
