KETTERING -- Get ready to spring forward and lose an hour of sleep, Daylight Savings Time will kick in on Sunday morning!
Doctors say you should start preparing now. Try going to sleep a half hour earlier tonight, then waking up a half hour earlier tomorrow,
Avoid caffeine, watching TV, and the internet right before bed.
Donna Arand, the Clinical Director at Kettering Sleep Disorders Center says Monday morning you should, "Get out in the sun in the early morning hours it will wake you up. It'll shove you into your alertness phase. Then, at night stay out of the sun after 6 o'clock or so."
Also, regular exercise can help you fall asleep faster and give you a deeper sleep.
