MIAMI TWP -- A family gets an unexpected wake-up call early Friday morning after a car slams into their house.
It happened just before 3:00 a.m. in the 6000 block of Hyacinth Drive in Miami Township. The driver of a white sedan not only crashed into the front of the house, but also hit the homeowner's SUV.
The SUV was sitting in the driveway and ended up hitting the house, as well. Police suspect the driver was under the influence of prescription pills and alcohol.
No one was seriously injured.
