COLUMBUS -- A Huber Heights man accused of stealing millions of dollars from thousands of people in a telemarketing scam pleads guilty.
Theodore Thomas was the ringleader of the scheme that defrauded people in 41 states out of $2.8 million.
Ohio's Attorney General says since 2007, the telemarketers have convinced victims their land was worth up to 15 times its assessed value, then they told those people they had to pay a fee to sell their land.
Theodore Thomas faces up to 11 years in prison.
