WARREN CO.--The Warren County man who drowned his wife in their bathtub is once again asking for a new trial.
Ryan Widmer is now serving a 15 years to life sentence for his 2011 conviction.
He's appealing his case once again asking the Ohio Supreme Court to grant him a fourth trial. Last week, the court rejected a different appeal that claimed the bathtub was improperly removed as evidence.
Now Widmer says his wife should have been tested for a genetic disorder that could have made her fall asleep in the tub and drown.
