FAIRBORN -- Wright-Patterson officials say that if the $85 billion in budget cuts caused by the sequestration goes into effect it could lead to major pay cuts for thousands of civilians.
As many as 13,000 civilians at the Air Force base could be facing 22 unpaid furlough days if Congress and the White House don't soon resolve its differences in how to deal with the federal budget.
Wright-Patterson officials say they will give workers notices this month if furloughs will happen and those pay cuts then would begin in April.
