MIAMI TWP. -- Police say 20-year-old Phillip P. Ochen of West Carrollton is dead after a drug deal turned into a robbery late Sunday night.
Miami Township Police say a 17-year-old girl and three adult men, including Ochen, lured two other men to the Knollridge Apartments in an attempt to rob them. The men thought they were going to sell them marijuana.
When they arrived, police said, the the males tried to rob them in the parking lot and a fight ensued. Someone grabbed a baseball bat from the car. Ochen was eventually stabbed in the throat with a knife.
According to police, the two 18-year-old drug dealing suspects fled with the knife. They were later located after interviewing other people in the apartment.
The mother of one boy might face charges after she reportedly hid the knife used in the stabbing in the backyard.
The men associated with Ochen are in jail, although no charges have been filed yet. Miami Township police plan to meet with Montgomery Co Prosecutor's office to discuss possible charges.
The two alleged drug dealers were questioned by police and released pending the meeting with prosecutors.

MIAMI TWP. -- The Montgomery County Coroner's Office has identified the victim in a fatal stabbing as 20-year-old Phillip Ochen of West Carrollton.
Miami Township Police were called out to the 2900 block of Knollridge Drive on Sunday night to investigate a stabbing. It happened just after 11:00 p.m.
Ochen was apparently stabbed in the throat after a fight broke out in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
Police are searching for two male suspects who possibly left the scene in a silver Chevrolet Malibu.
Police say violent crime at this apartment complex is very rare.
