DAYTON -- Dayton city leaders are looking to stop the gun violence, after six homicides in less than a week. The human relations council held a public meeting tonight to discuss solutions and offer resources to help residents make better choices.

"It's my job, it's my calling to get involved," said Dormetria Thompson, with City Day Community School, "There's a lot of pain, there's a lot of fear, there's a lot of anger and I must say that the first thing we must do as a community is to pray" 10:26:44

The next community forum will be held April 12th and 13th at Thurgood Marshall High School.
