UPDATE: The man who was busted for his 14 OVI appeared in court Thursday, and said he was sorry.
"I haven't drank for a long time'', William Newman said, ''and I got around the wrong crowd and I had a few beers and I know I shouldn't have but I did."
Newman was arrested Monday night after Clark County authorities say he caused a three car crash in Northridge.
Newman's OVI convictions go back to 1990, and he's already spent two years in prison for a 2009 conviction. This time, if he's found guilty of OVI, Newman could spend up to 10 years behind bars.
