MIAMI VALLEY -- The Ohio Department of Transportation District 7 is seeking public comments regarding the following projects:
⢠ODOT will undertake reconstruction of the SR 67 bridge over I-75 in Duchouquet Township, Auglaize County. The project is necessary to address deteriorated components of the bridge.
⢠ODOT will undertake necessary maintenance activities on the SR 219 bridge over Koop Creek (aka Kopp Creek) in St. Marys Township, Auglaize County.
⢠ODOT will upgrade curb ramps to ADA compliance on SR 245 in North Lewisburg (Champaign County) and on SR 274 in Jackson Center (Shelby County). The project will require up to 0.005-acre of right-of-way from the Jackson Center Village Park.
⢠ODOT will replace the bridge located near the south corporate limits of Ithaca in Darke County. The project is necessary to address the deterioration of the structure.
⢠ODOT will replace the culvert carrying an unnamed tributary of Beaver Creek under SR 29, adjacent to the ODOT Mercer County Garage. The project is necessary to address the deterioration of the structure.
⢠The Village of West Milton will acquire up to 0.4-acre of land from the Lowry Complex owned by Milton-Union Exempted Schools. Section 4(f) of the DOT Act of 1966 protects publicly owned parks and recreation facilities. The project as proposed includes all possible planning to minimize harm to the Lowry Complex. ODOT, as FHWAâs agent, intends to make a finding of de minimis effect with respect to the projectâs involvement with this recreational resource. A de minimis effect is one that will not adversely affect the features, attributes or activities that qualify the resource for protection under the DOT Act of 1966.
⢠ODOT will replace the bridge carrying Old Troy Pike over Willow Creek in Huber Heights, Montgomery County. The project is necessary to address the deteriorated condition of the structure.
⢠ODOT will replace the existing bridge carrying Klase Ditch under SR 48 in Loramie Township., Shelby County. The project is necessary to address the deterioration of the structure.
