DAYTON -- Students at Emerson Academy in Dayton are raising their heart rates to raise money for the American Heart Association. The students are jumping rope, shooting baskets and dancing during physical education classes. The students got folks to pledge money for the event and those donations will go to help fight heart disease.
The Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart fundraiser continues through Thursday.
