DAYTON -- There have been six homicides in Dayton in less than a week, and the grandson of the oldest victim is pleading for help in finding his grandfather's killer.
Oscar Beason, 95, was found at the bottom of his basement stairs, shot to death inside his Hochwalt Avenue home last Wednesday.
Beason's grandson, Branden says his family is just trying to come to terms with what happened and is looking for justice.
"We just hope and pray that someone comes forward," Branden said. "Please come forward and give us some closure, we can't bring him back but if we have peace of mind that someone is apprehended, you know."
