DAYTON--The mother of former Dayton Police Officer Kevin Brame is starting a scholarship fund in his honor.
Officer Brame was shot and killed back in 1999 after dropping his kids off with their mother.
His murder case is still unsolved, but Brame's mom is now starting a scholarship fund for students studying criminal justice.
To raise money, everyone is welcome to come bowl Sunday at Dayton's Capri Lanes from 2pm to 6pm.
Tickets are $20, which includes bowling, games, lunch, and door prizes.
All proceeds go to the Kevin Brame Community Fund.
