DAYTON -- Police have said they have identified a body found Wednesday night inside Dayton's Rumpke Trash & Recycling Facility.

Police have revealed that the victim was a 54-year-old white man from Dayton. The man's identity is being withheld from the media pending family notification.

A Rumpke worker reportedly found a leg around 10:30 Wednesday night. When police arrived, they found the rest of the body about 150 feet away.

Rumpke's Safety Director tells us he was not a Rumpke employee. Police did find part of a wallet with the body. The body has been taken to the Montgomery County's Coroner's Office.

Meanwhile, Rumpke will have grief counselors available today to help workers deal with a traumatic night.
