DAYTON-- Dayton Police are investigating the murder of a woman who was shot in front of her two young kids.
Police said Jillian Miles, 27, was shot inside her West Parkwood home Tuesday night. According to police, she was killed in front of her two year old little boy and one year old girl.
Neighbors said they heard gunshots and called 911. When police arrived, they found Miles collapsed on the living room floor.
She was taken to the hospital, where she died. Police said there was no forced entry into the home and they believe Miles knew the shooter.
"She was a great mom, and a real nice, pretty girl." Her next door neighbor, Brian Castle said. "This is awful, she's only 27 years old." Castle continued.
Castle feels confident police will make an arrest. "They will get him. I pray to God they will get him."
DAYTON -- The identity of the woman shot dead in a West Dayton home late Tuesday has been released.
Jillian Miles, 27, was hospitalized after being shot twice at 160 West Parkwood Drive home.
Her two small children were in the living room where Miles was found.

DAYTON -- Detectives are investigating a homicide after a woman dies from two gunshot wounds.
Police were called to the home on 160 West Parkwood Drive in Dayton late Tuesday night. When they arrived they found two toddlers in the living room and a woman passed out on the floor.
They soon discovered the woman had been shot twice. She was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, where she later died. Her identity has not been released at this time.
Right now, police have not released any information about a possible suspect.
