MIAMISBURG -- While some of us were sleeping in Thursday morning, an ambitious group of people decide to work off those Thanksgiving pounds before even lifting a fork, at the annual Turkey Trot.
Many of the runners dressed up in very colorful costumes for the 10-kilometer run.
We got a chance to talk to this year's race winner.
"Oh it was great, I was just glad to be out here today, beautiful weather, such a great holiday, giving thanks to God for all the blessings we have," Paul Krebbs said.
Krebbs has run this race with his family since he was 10 years old.
This marks the fourth time he has won.
