DAYTON--Bump, set spike...volleyball teams took over Dayton this weekend.
More than 4,000 teens traveled to the Miami Valley for the Dayton Juniors President's Volleyball Tournament. Some even came from Canada to play.
Organizers say parents make the event possible.
"A lot of times in society today, we forget about the important things of life. You have parents here and some of them have the means to support their kids, and some of them don't but still they make that sacrifice to be with their children," said organizer Howard Garcia.
The Dayton Convention and Visitors Bureau says the annual event generates about $1.5 million for the local economy.
