DAYTON -- School officials and police are taking very seriously a threat they found Thursday afternoon in the stall of a girl's restroom at Horizon Science Academy.
School officials said they found the message, which mentioned someone would kill everyone at the school, about 3 p.m., when students were already leaving school for the day.
School officials said they contact police and parents immediately.
Today, students headed back to class under heightened security, with more security cameras and personal searches of all students as they entered the building.
All visitors also must be buzzed into the building.
Police also are having all students in fifth through 12th grades provide handwriting samples so investigators can analyze them against the writing in the restroom.
Investigators say this might be someone reacting as a copy-cat from Wednesday's and Thursday's Tippecanoe High School incident.
Reporter Kavontae Smalls is at the school and he'll have more on this developing story as details emerge.
