FINDLAY -- The Courier newspaper reports that a Xenia man claiming to have had a psychic vision of a homicide instigated a police investigation that led to a dead end.
The man reportedly called Findlay police at 4:22 a.m. Monday to report a dead body might be near the corner of river and Broad streets in Findlay, the newspaper said a police lieutenant told them.
Officers checked in the area around the park before determining there was no body.
"We still take it seriously when someone calls in a dead body," Dunbar told the newspaper.
Evidently, the man has made similar reports to Xenia police. The Courier reports that Findlay authorities likely won't press charges against the man unless he becomes a recurring problem.
