MIAMI VALLEY -- E-cigarettes are now banned from the cargo department of airplanes.
The Federal Aviation Administration [FAA] is asking passengers who use electronic cigarettes to keep them in his or her carry-on bag.
FAA officials say that the devices are a fire hazard when put under the main level of the aircraft. Recently, several incidents took place with e-cigarettes overheating and catching fire.
