BREAKING: Deadly Bethel Township Fire Under Investigation

BREAKING NEWS: BETHEL TOWNSHIP-- One person is dead after a fire rips through a home in Bethel Township.
   
It started shortly after midnight Thursday morning on the 1000 block of Kendig Road.
   
Flames were shooting from the roof when firefighters arrived on scene, spreading to the roof and garage.

The fire was too intense for fire crews to go into the house. Extra help was called in to help firefighters get the flames under control. Water was hauled in to douse the flames ince hydrants are not in the area.

The Lutenient with the Bethel Township Fire Department tells us they had a few problems putting out the fire in the garage because it was filled with items.
   
It is still unknown how the fire started.   
   
Once firefighters knocked out most of the flames, they managed to do a search and found one man unresponsive inside. his name has yet to be released.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
BREAKING NEWS: The coroner confirms one man is dead after a fire rips through a Bethel Township Home.

His identity is unknown right now.

The investigation is ongoing to find the cause of the blaze.


NEW CARLISLE-- A Bethel Township house is destroyed by flames.

Fire crews were called out to Kendig Road near South Medway-Carlisle Road just after midnight Thursday (January 22, 2015). Flames were shooting from the home when crews arrived.

Firefighters were able to get garage section of the blaze contained fairly quickly, but they say it was full of debris making it a challenge to put out the flames.

Crews also had to haul in water to fight the flames, since no fire hydrants are in the area.

Right now, it is unknown if someone was home at the time of the fire.

The fire is under investigation.
