CLEVELAND -- Cardale Jones has scheduled a 3 p.m. news conference in his hometown.
Jones, Ohio State's third quarterback of the 2014-2015 season, led the team to a national championship during the NCAA's first football playoffs. Jones' outstanding performance against Wisconsin in the Big Ten championship game and then wins against Alabama and Oregon in the playoffs have made the once-third-string quarterback into the limelight.
Jones earlier posted a message on Twitter about a "life-changing decision."
Sports analysts have suggested Jones could be selected in the second round of the NFL draft, which begins April 30.
Our sister station, ABC 6 in Columbus, will be at the news conference, so we'll have the latest on this developing story as information is released.
