MORAINE--With a little quick thinking, a family of four escaped a fire in their house this morning.
The fire happened on the 4100 block of Miamishores Drive in Moraine.
It started in a bathroom, but spread into the attic. Firefighters had to cut off power in the home to reach the fire, but they quickly put it out.
No one was hurt . The family along with their three puppies and a bird made it out safely.
Since the house has no power, the Red Cross is giving them a place to stay tonight.
