MIAMI VALLEY -- The Home Depot is expected to hire 80,000 seasonal employees, 225 of those in the Dayton area for their busy spring season.
A news release from The Home Depot said half the seasonal jobs turn into permanent positions.
Also, The Home Depot recently launched its Online Military Skills Translator to help match unique military skills with positions within the company.
The release said seasonal associates will be assigned responsibilities based on their previous retail or home improvement experience and based on the needs of individual stores.
