DAYTON -- A puppy-snatching thief stole two puppies from behind a Dayton business.
Two 8-week-old Siberian huskies were stolen from behind the Big Star Trucking Company on North Findlay Street.
Bego Ali said the dog snatchers stole his pups about 11:30 Monday morning.
He got sick to his stomach watching his surveillance video, which shows a silver Dodge Caravan with tinted windows pulling into the trucking company parking lot. The driver's side door opens, and within a minute his puppies were gone.
"This makes me so sad," he said. "I have love for them. This is really no good."
Ali said husky puppies are $500 each, but he doesn't care about the money, he just wants his pups back.
"They are like family, really," he said.
Ali said he will offer a $1,000 reward for their return. Call Dayton Police at 333-COPS if you have any information.
